Dr. Morgan is fantastic - - the staff is good too but overwhelmed and unable to respond in a timely manner. They often forget to turn the phones on when the office opens. I sent a message to the office via the patient portal on Wednesday and today is Saturday - still have not heard back, phones are still on night mode so cannot reach anyone. It seems the office has taken on too many patients and cannot handle the load. Slow response, difficult to get an appointment - if my husband did not like Dr. Morgan so much, we'd make a change.
I have been a patient of Dr. Morgan for the last 12 years and have tried to make an appointment with him several times however he is always booked out so far you can't see him.....I had an upper respiratory infection and was told I would have to wait until the following Wednesday before I could see him! I wound up in the ER this weekend and called this morning and was told he was off today and had not appointments on Tuesday either.!!!! very frustrated that you can't see your Dr even if you were very ill! I know Dr. Morgan and I know he would not approve of his patients being treated this way. I guess I will have to look for another Dr. regretfully! Pam Woody
Dr. Morgan is amazing! Such a great doctor and just a nice person. He actually cares about the people that come see him.
Dr Morgan is a great pcp. He listens and makes you feel like you're having a conversation rather than talking at you
I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents and myself. I left Dr. Morgan several years ago after he refused to do a simple iron blood test because I felt terrible and thought I may have been anemic. Turns out I was, and my iron levels were so low I was one period away from hospitalization. I've urged my parents to leave him ever since, but they stayed, until now. My father recently lost 56 lbs. This was intentional, not due to illness. He was on high blood pressure medication. Since losing the weight he had been seen twice by Dr. Morgan. Now, when you go in to see your doctor you are weighed and they take your blood pressure, or at least they are supposed to. My dads blood pressure was VERY low, and still Dr. Morgan did not take him off of the blood pressure meds. Over 4th of July weekend my dad fell extremely ill. Very dizzy, dehydrated, etc...because his blood pressure was way too low!! I urged him to stop the blood pressure meds asap, drink pedialyte and get into see another doctor immediately. Thankfully, he's okay now. Dr. Morgan could've killed him!!! Now let's talk about my mom. She has no thyroid. She and I both suffer from Hashimoto's thyroiditis. She was on synthroid, and it was not making her feel better. I'm on Armour thyroid, and see a thyroid specialist, she only sees Dr. Morgan. I told her I feel great on the Armour, she should ask Morgan to try it out. He agreed and switched her. The dose they started her on was too high, needed to be lowered. Dr. Morgan's MA took it upon herself to switch my mom back to synthroid because the dose Morgan listed on the prescription to lower the Armour to didn't exist. Instead of going back to him and saying Armour is only available in this dose, should I do it, she just switched my mom's medication. MA's cannot do that!!! Not only should she be fired, Dr. Morgan should lose his license!! Stay away from this doctor!!!
