If it's at all possible for you.. I'd highly recommend going somewhere else.
The woman we encountered at the front desk of the Northglenn office (Crystal) was incredibly short with us and lacking in all ways on the customer service front. No "hello," no smile; it was akin to pulling teeth to get any kind of assistance from her. She made no attempt to hide the fact that she felt we were a massive inconvenience to her, so much so that I returned her pen and took my money and the application all the way to the Henderson Post Office. Thankfully, they managed to provide the service I was looking for with a smile so I was happy to pay them the $25 instead.
Great experience at this place for passport services. Staff is really nice and helpful, from the clerk receiving the payments to the really nice ladies that take your application, make sure everything is OK and tell you about the options you have to receive your passport (regular and expedited). I wasn't sure if they were going to be able to make a copy of my citizenship proof, so I got a copy at a different place, and when I got there, the clerk offered to, and made another copy of my ID (driver's license) so both sides were in one page. You should try to bring your own copies, but rest assured they will help you if you need a copy of one of your documents. I was able to easily schedule an appointment using their website the day before. So convenient. I needed my passport as soon as possible, so I chose the expedited option, but this facility also offers an express option, which means they overnight your application and documents to the passport agency for a faster application process. I was so glad I chose this place to apply for my passport.
Unfortunately for us, my husband and I needed to apply for a passport for my 5 month old daughter and Thornton office didn't do passports that day (they only do them on certain days of the week so call ahead to check before making the journey in).
