A few months ago I was arrested for a traffic warrant. By the time NGPD was done I had a felony. They illegally searched my vehicle and removed everything out of it. Including my handicapped placard. At the time of my arrested I had my wedding rings. They were logged in in Northglenn but not in Adams County. NGPD won't accept fault for all that they did. They expect me to just forget about $1600. In wedding rings. WRONG ANSWER!!!!

I've also never seen Northglenn PD hold any of the wanna-be thugs accountable for their behavior. I've called for teens smoking pot and drinking at the skate park and they show up, talk to them & leave. I reported a teen shoplifting make-up from Walmart and they simply told her to her return the items and go home. I can't figure out if laziness, a hatred of paperwork, if they're afraid of these brats running around acting like fools or if they think they should just be paid for simply showing up and playing in their cars all day. Whatever it is, this worthless department needs a serious overhaul.

IM SUING. MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM NORTHGLENN OR SHOULD I SAY IRAQ.... AS POSSIBLE.

I'm really not sure why the Northglenn PD exists. They don't do any productive and CONSTANTLY speed up and down Community Center Drive & through other residential neighborhoods without cause.

Lazy. They care more about ordinance violations than busting the trash shooting off fireworks and running red lights. I've seen multiple cars run the same red light right in front of a cop and he's too busy drinking his coffee and eating donuts to ticket one.

GREAT JOB NORTHGLENN. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CALL YOURSELF A NORTHGLENN POLICE........WORST EVER....

I have to say I'm really impressed with the NPD. Our land line phone has been down, not sure if it's crossed or the line is wet or what exactly is wrong yet. For some reason 911 is being dialed showing our phone # even though it has no dial tone. Because of this the NPD has had to come out and check more than once. They've been very courteous, patient and understanding even though it's not an emergency. I have also had a few other interactions with them in the 5+ years I've lived in Northglenn and each time the officers were respectful, engaging and pleasant to deal with. Now I may be partial having law enforcement in my family tree but I've had interactions over the years with other police officers in other cities, Denver, Thornton, Littleton etc. and none were as helpful or as easy to deal with. Whatever guidelines Northglenn uses in hiring and training their officers should be shared with other departments. In fact the Northglenn courts and judicial employees could learn a thing or two on how to treat people from their own police force.

THIS POLICE DEPARTMENT IS GETTING TGE REPUTATION AS THE NEW FED HEIGHTS PD.

Northglenn Police Department in my opinion is one of the worst police departments out there.

I have always been impressed with Northglenn's response time to calls. Anytime there is an issue in my neighborhood or near it their response time is minutes (often 3 minutes or less) whether it's an emergency or non-emergency issue.

Thank you for all you do! Stay safe!

One nerd responded to my car accident and I can only assume he was friends with the driver at fault. He spent the entire time laughing and talking to the offending driver without once asking how my kids or I were. After several minutes he walked over to me and said, "You're lucky the other driver doesn't want me to ticket you, however if you try to pin the accident on him you will be ticketed." Never asked my side or spoke with the 3 witnesses we had. I needed my car towed and he didn't call a tow service like he was supposed to. Instead he told me to call my insurance company and have them deal with it and left after shaking the other guys hand. We reported him for his unprofessional behavior and for his ridiculous, unfounded threats. After reviewing footage of the accident and talking to witnesses, Progressive found the other driver at fault and no ticket was issued after speaking to the disrespectful officers superior.
